Position Description:
The Product Analyst for Application Enablement will be part of the Scientific data consumption product team.
In this role, they will work with product teams, technical teams, SMEs and stakeholders to uncover and communicate user needs and assist in conducting product discovery activities to create data products.
In this role, they will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams helping to solve complex data problems.
They will have to understand complexities in Research data and work with stakeholder, engineering team to make data understandable and accessible.
The Scientific Data Consumption Product Line (SDC) provides a combination of technology, infrastructure, software, and personnel to support large scale scientific data consumption and computing comprising of the Scientific Data Platform, Modeling and Machine Learning Platforms, High Performance Computing (HPC) workflows, and experience products such as visualization, modeling workbenches, and analytics development environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking for an individual who loves all things about data and analytics platform.
You should be curious and willing to get your hands dirty, envision tools that will allow us to scale and efficiently produce valuable data products.
You will collaborate very closely with the Product & Data Science teams to define and develop data products.

Gathers, manages, and prioritizes product requirements that detail user problems and needs, technical constraints and strategic objectives.

Define, groom the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams
Is a user expert and understands the reasons customers use the products.

Can justify improvements to existing products in a value focused manner
Defines what to solve by articulating the value of problems to be solved, along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution.

Develops and maintains relevant technical knowledge and/or specific domain expertise pertinent to the product area or capability they are working in.

Describes what to solve by writing problem statements and requirements and facilitates the how with the engineering team.

May occupy the position of Product Owner on an Agile team, or work closely with one.

Planning, designing and conducting testing activities, and compiling critical content for training and communication for our users.

Process data, observations, information and other research into insights that will help inform product strategy and decisions
Supports product manager in defining and driving the strategy as well as day to day execution in collaboration with engineering teams for one or more products.

Accept the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteria.

Acts as the customer champion articulating and advocating the users needsProduct Manager

Analysis and evidence to document and communicate the data used to make product decisions
Marketing materials regarding the value and positioning of their product
Matrices and test plans developed in a risk-based manner
User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts reflecting the critical components that require testing for each release

Education Minimum Requirement:

or higher degree in computer sciences or equivalent field required Required Experience and Skills:

years articulating and building tooling to support the development of data analytics products
Minimum 3-5 years working with customers to define requirements, preferably data
Prior experience with data analytics or data science capabilities.

Experience building ERD, logical data models, source-target mappings.

Hands-on experience or working knowledge with data management services such as AWS Athena, Glue, S3, Redshift, or similar tools & services are highly desired.

Identify and define business problems, and translate them into actionable requirements and tasks
Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders and users
Be able to work independently, anticipating and resolving problems
Experience managing multiple complex experience design and development projects simultaneously Preferred Experience and Skills:

Pharmaceutical drug discovery and pre-clinical development experience.

Domain knowledge or familiarity with Machine Learning Platforms (e.
g.
Sagemaker and DataBricks)
Experience working in Agile software development

Hybrid Work Model Effective September 5,2023 our U.

Hybrid work model will be as follows:
