Job Description Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation. Our Manufacturing Division IT is seeking a Product Owner to drive development of a customer-facing, GMP reporting product which is part of a broader data & analytics initiative supporting several Manufacturing Division functions. Developed over our Manufacturing Division's big data lake, this product enables automated reporting and data access in a GMP setting. Under the direction of the Divisional Analytics Product Line Leader, the Product Owner will work with an Agile team to drive both the product strategy and technical delivery. Primary
Responsibilities:
Partnering with our Manufacturing Division stakeholders to understand business priorities and map these to product requirements Collaborating with the Senior Product Owner to coordinate strategies and activities across the other products within the broader data and analytics program Maintaining roadmaps to clearly communicate the product's strategy and direction Developing & executing processes to maintain the product's GMP status Managing and continually refining the product backlog Decomposing EPICS into user stories and prioritizing user stories for the agile team Contributing to the selection of solution architectures aligned with accepted design patterns & standards Manage relationships and critical dependencies with delivery groups outside the agile team Building talent in the areas of data analysis, data engineering, visualization, and data science Focusing on delivery excellence & continuous improvement The incumbent must work closely with various stakeholders across our Manufacturing Division IT, and the broader IT/business community to successfully execute this role. Education Requirements Bachelors degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics) Qualifications 5
years working experience in IT. 2
years of working experience in data, analytics, or data science Previous working experience developing data & analytics products in a GMP environment Previous working experience with Agile software development & methodologies Previous working experience translating business needs to IT requirements Desired Experience Experience in manufacturing or supply chain Working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES Working knowledge of cloud-based data and analytics tools (such as AWS) Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization.
