Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

Our Development team ensure production can be scaled up whilst remaining stable, effective, deliverable and safe. Following formulation, cutting edge computer modelling techniques are used to simulate outcomes and, if successful, PKPD and toxicity studies bring the science one step closer to giving hope to patients. Applications sought for a scientist/engineering position in our Research & Development Division. The candidate will perform various activities in support of equipment maintenance and engineering. A good understanding of the regulatory guidelines governing GMP operations is important. The successful candidate is expected to work in a team atmosphere in close collaboration with plant personnel, facility engineering and maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety groups. Responsibilities:
Scheduling equipment calibrations. Managing qualified equipment inventories, supporting equipment validation activities. Reviewing and approving change management documentation. Providing engineering guidance during troubleshooting events, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) status of equipment and facilities. Conducting equipment Lock Out/Tag Out. Submitting equipment and facility work orders. Conducting small capital projects. Evaluating new technologies and equipment for potential use in the area, and supporting environmental and safety initiatives. Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of three (3) years experience supporting GMP equipment and/or facilities for GMP manufacturing areas. A minimum of five (5) years' engineering experience in a manufacturing sector. Preferred Experience and Skills:
Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
